The name Six Impossible Things is a borrowed phrase from Alice in Wonderland.

I treat this newsletter as a mix of thinking through my own personal feelings and absorbing the work of other writers and artists that I love. I arrived at the idea of this newsletter in an attempt to stage an exit from writing on/for Instagram.

More often than not, what the Instagram algorithm picks up and amplifies is the least creatively satisfying work for me. The beauty of this newsletter is that I don’t have to succumb to algorithms. I can do what I have always wanted to do — write about the things I like and find a framework for my ideas and thinking.

About Me:

I’m Anjali — a 22-year-old freelance artist based in Bangalore. As a visual artist, I work with various non-profits and social justice organizations. All of my compiled work can be found on my website.

Support This Newsletter:

I love writing this newsletter — but reading is an expensive habit. Writing requires effort and labour. As of now, all editions I write are free. But if you can do consider contributing and supporting this newsletter in a small way.
